William Harold Dowell, age 88, of Pine Bluff, AR, died Thursday, October 25, at Trinity Village. He was born January 16, 1930, in Little Rock, AR, a son of the late Harold Howard Dowell and Myrna Blankenship Dowell. Also preceding him in death was a daughter Pamela Jane Ashcraft. William was a retired school administrator, a former Methodist minister and a U.S. Air Force veteran serving in the Korean War.
Survivors are his wife Annie Sue Bright Dowell. One son Mark Dowell and spouse Cheryl of Woodlawn, AR. Three grandchildren Chad Ashcraft and spouse Amy of Sheridan, AR, Eric Dowell and spouse Nichole of Fort Smith, AR, and Phillip Dowell and spouse Cheyenne of Pine Bluff, AR. Two great-grandchildren Magen Ashcraft and Ayden Dowell.
Graveside will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 27, at Oakland Cemetery in Warren, AR, with Rev. Thomas L. Lanthrip officiating. Arrangements are by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
