Sylvia Ferrell

Sylvia Baker Ferrell, age 85, Godfrey Place, AR, died Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Chapel Woods Health and Rehabilitation in Warren, AR. She was born November 8, 1932, in Farmville, AR, a daughter of the late Clifton Green Baker and Naomi Adams Baker. Sylvia was a graduate of Hermitage High School, a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church and the widow of Troy Ferrell who died March 29, 2003. They were united in marriage December 16, 1950. She was a housewife, mother, Maw Maw, great-grandmother and a Syba. Also preceding her in death was her beloved grandson Brandon and granddaughter Melissa.
Survivors are one son Eddie Ferrell and spouse Angie of Godfrey Place, AR. Two daughters Ginger Anders and spouse Jim of Jersey, AR, and Sherry Hays and spouse Dennis of Hermitage, AR. One sister Ann Ragsdale and spouse Joe of Vancouver, WA. Seven grandchildren Chris Anders and spouse Lei Lani, Brad Anders, Jill Ferrell, Leann Parker and spouse Jeffrey, Holly Morgan and spouse Joey, Katie Ferguson and spouse Travis, and B.J. Hays. Ten great-grandchildren Kaileigh, Anna Faith, Cash, Emma, Jett, Jack, Gracelyn, Charlie, Beau, and Kyndall.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Johnsville, AR, by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday, October 29, at Frazer’s. Online guest register www.frazerfuneralhome.com
