Benny E. Childs, 77, of Pine Bluff, died Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. Born November 5, 1940, he was a son of the late Edward and Lula Childs.
He was born in Banks, AR., he later relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he worked and raised his family for over 40 years and after his retirement moved to Pine Bluff, AR.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jessie Childs.
Survivors:
His wife – Mary Childs of Pine Bluff
Children – Brian (Tracy), Cicely all of Milwaukee, WI. and LaDell Clifton (Patti) of Wesley Chapel, FL.
Grandchildren – Brandon Childs of Milwaukee, Trisha, Terrica and Jamie
Siblings – Angeline Adams (Moses), Aserene Smith, Mae Henry (Johnny), Marnetta Watson (Edward) and Margaret McFarland (Willie)
Three great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be Thursday, April 5th at 1:00 P.M. at West Central Church of Christ in Warren. Burial in Childs Cemetery in Banks with arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home of Warren.
