Ileader Blount Hales

 Ileader Blount Hales, age 82, of Star City, AR, died Sunday July 19, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. Born November 18, 1932 in Monticello, AR, a daughter of the late Albert James Blount and Mattie Frances McGhee Blount she was a homemaker, a Baptist and the widow of Garland Woodrow Hales who died May 29, 1983. Survivors are one son David Hales, Star City, AR. One daughter Ileasha Owens, Star City, AR. Three brothers O.J. Blount, Andalusia, AL, Joe T. Blount, Foloria, AL, Little Blount, Hermitage, AR. One sister Frances Hughes, Pine Bluff, AR. 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also, preceding her in death was a son Garland Terry Hales; brothers Albert Lee Blount, Alfred Marion Blount; a great-grandson Gage Aaron Lee Owens. Graveside service was 10:00 a.m. Thursday July 23, at Outlaw Cemetery in Sumpter, AR with Rev. Bob Black officiating. Arrangements were by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Jacob Owens, Patrick Owens, Hunter Wrinkle, Chris Witschi, Dallas Hays and Tony Smith.
