Robert Louis Momon, 74, of Banks died Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at his home.
Born on March 4, 1941, he was a son of the late Ozell Momon and Jettie Mae Boswell. He was raised by his grandparents the late Dewey and Josie Boswell.
He attended New Bethel Primitive Baptist Church in Banks and Hermitage School District. He was a former employee of Boldwen Bomb Plant in Camden.
He was also preceded in death by his brother Joe Ozell Momon and grandparents Murry and Caudie Momon.
Survivors:
Mother: Jeffie Mae Clay (Adolphus) of Portland, OR
Children: Angela Hargraves (Donald), Melody Edmonds (Danny) all of Banks; Linda Lawson (Rodney) of Crossett, Tyrone O. Momon of Fort Smith and Dewery Momon of Clarksville, TN.
Sister: Joyce Jones (James) of Waynesville, MO.
Stepbrother: Roy Clay of Portland, OR.
Niece: Carol Miller Bell (Bobby) of Hermitage
Uncle: Marion C. Boswell (Jean) of Banks
Aunts: Ruby Childs of Warren, Dorothy Davis (Roy of Banks) and Reldia Gill of Los Angeles, CA
18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were July 18 at New Bethel Baptist Church in Banks with Bishop Larry Hines officiating. Burial was in Childs Cemetery by Hammons Funeral Home of Warren.
