Travis Joe Avery, 61, of New Edinburg, died January 1, 2021. Born August 26, 1959, he was a son of Missionary Lois Avery and the late Jonah Avery. He was a member of St. John AME Church in New Edinburg. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Billy, Calvin and Bobby Avery.
He is survived by his mother, Missionary Lois Avery of New Edinburg; siblings, Janice Young (Dale), Robby Avery (Kimberly) all of Kenosha, WI. and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside service was January 6th at Bethel Cemetery in New Edinburg with Presiding Elder Kent Broughton officiating. Arrangements were by Hammons Funeral Home.
