Carolyn (Halley) Vickers

WARREN – Carolyn (Halley) Vickers, age 86, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021, at J.R.M.C. in Pine Bluff, AR. She was born on January 4, 1934, a daughter of the late Floyd Leon Halley and the late Elva (Waller) Halley.

Carolyn graduated from Warren High School. She was employed at Robbins Hardwood Flooring and a member of the First Baptist Church in Warren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Andy Roe Vickers; son, Andrew N. Vickers; siblings, Howard Halley, F.L. Halley Jr., Allen H. Halley, Bernie C. Halley, Willie Mae Loetscher, Flora B. Poe, and Mattie L. Woodson.

Survivors include her son, Shawn Vickers and Riki of Broken Arrow, OK; siblings, Evelyn Glover of Warren; and grandchildren, Austin Vickers and Megan Vickers.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2021, at Oakland Cemetery with officiant,  Ron Sanders. Pallbearers include Randy Rauls, Ryan Hicks, Jason Green, Freddie Mobley, Marlin Raines, Delbert Zimmerly, and Bill Taylor. Gerald Burton, Billy Burton, Dr. Kerry Pennington, and R.L. Gates were selected as honorary pallbearers. Arrangements in care of Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren.
