John Newton Berry, age 81, of Warren, AR, died Tuesday September 24, 2019, at J.R.M.C. He was born October 8, 1937, in Warren, AR, a son of the late John Lawrence Berry and Christine Knowles Berry. John was a retired mechanic for Lasiter’s Garage, a member and deacon at Westside Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife Jane Colter Berry whom he married December 25, 1960. One son James Berry of Conway, AR; one daughter Judy Herring of Warren, AR; two brothers Mike Berry and Phil Berry both of Warren, AR; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 27, at Westside Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Carter and Rev. Danny Kelly officiating. Burial is in Ebenezer Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
