Sandra West Johnson age 81 of Warren, AR died Monday November 20th, at the Bradley County Medical Center. She was born November 1, 1936 in Bradley County, AR a daughter of the late Vernon West and Thelma Clary West. Sandra retired from the Warren Public School System as a nurse’s aid with 14 years of service, she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church, serving in the Nettie Moseley Sunday School Class. Sandra loved being a housewife and homemaker, she loved their restaurant, Earnie’s Steak and Ribs where she enjoyed making pie’s and sharing them with her family and friends. Most of all, Sandra enjoyed singing around the house while taking care of and loving her family. She was also preceded in death by brothers Wayne West, Jackie West and Jimmy West and a sister Linda West Harton Thompson.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Earnest Merl Johnson, whom she married November 26th, 1955 and spanned almost 62 years of marriage. A son Toney Johnson and spouse Deborah, Scott, AR. 3 daughters Teresa Brewster and spouse Shelby, Warren, AR; Karen Richardson and spouse Scott, Warren, AR and Rhonda Merl Sizemore and spouse Harvey, Corner Stone, AR. A sister DeRay McClain and spouse Mac, Warren, AR. 7 grandchildren Shelly Ashley and spouse Jett, Scott Allison Johnson and spouse Justin, Robert Austin Richardson and spouse Ashley, Krista Thornton and spouse Jeremy, Toni Elizabeth Johnson, Winston Sizemore and spouse Mary Allison, Bryant Sizemore and spouse Claire. 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service 4:00 PM Wednesday, November 22nd at Frazer’s Chapel. Burial in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Visitation 2:30 PM till service time Wednesday at Frazer’s Chapel. Online guestbook www.frazerfuneralhome.com
