Gaylord Perry Rhodes, 45, of Warren, died Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Bradley County Medical Center in Warren.
Born September 24, 1971, he was a son of the lat Audrey D. Sr. and Bennie Jean Rhodes.
He was a graduate of Wilmar High School. He was a member of New Lite Baptist church in Hermitage. He was an employee of Armstrong Witt Plant for 12 years, working as an End Matcher Operator.
He was also preceded in death by a brother Alfred James Rhodes, Sr. and a sister, Bessie Cross.
Survivors:
His wife-Debra Ann Rhodes of Warren.
Children-Chakitha Roberson (Ken), Chakimtha Davis all of Warren and Charmane Miller of Hermitage.
Siblings-Sherman Ingram (Debra) of Warren, Audrey D. Rhodes, Jr. (Diane) of New Hope, Trrence Rhodes (Wanda), Warren Rhodes, James C. Rhodes, Wanda Bell (Michael Jr.), Thelma Ferrell (Carl Sr.) Brenda Rhodes all of Wilmar, Francis McKinley of Little Rock and Roseanne Cross of Fordyce.
A host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were January 21 at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Warren with Bishop Larry Hines officiating and Rev. Henry D. Cox pastor. Burial in Wilmar Cemetery in Wilmar with arrangments by Hammons Funeral Home of Warren.
