Doris Marie Owens, 69, of Warren, died Friday, December 23, 2016 at Trinity Nursing Home in Pine Bluff.
Born June 20, 1947, she was a daughter of Willie Mae Owens and the late Vernell Owens.
She was a member of St. James AME Church in Warren, where she was an avid attendee, her favorite scripture was Philippians 4:13. Doris was devoted to her family, enjoyed helping others and was loved by many.
She was also preceded in deth by her partner O. C. River; daughter Kay Owens and siblings Dean Owens, James Owens, and Druzy Greer.

Daughters-Teresa Robinson of Las Vegas, NV; TyRhonda Dixon of Kansas City, Kansas
Siblings-Larnell Owens, Anthony Owens, Barbara Owens-Cason, and Sharon Washington (Obie) all of Kansas City, Kansas; Ronnie Owens and Faye Owens both of Warren.
Granddaughters-Dyesha Bell and Keanundra Davis (Eric)
Great grandchildren-Reggie Murphy and Sa'Niya Murphy

Funeral services were December 31 at St. James AME Church in Warren with Rev. James R. Hooper officiating. Arrangements were by Hammons Funeral Home of Warren.
