Ernest "Bill" Lee Gilmore, 73, of Fordyce, formerly of Warren, died Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce.
Born February 22, 1943, he was a son of the late Irene Hampton and Lester Gilmore.
He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist church South Warren, where he was a member of the Male Chorus. He enjoyed riding his bide, fishing, hunting and working his garden.

Siblings-Lois Davis, sue Ann (James) Parker, Loretta (Hilton) McCray, Nancy Jordan, Joyce Parham, Freddy (Tecolia) Hall, and Lester Gilmore, Jr.
10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends
Funeral services were January 7 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in South Warren with Rev. Silas Warner officiating. Burial was in Palestine Cemetery in Johnsville with arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home of Warren.
