Ronnie A. Roam

Ronnie A. Roam of Benton, departed this life on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice House in Bryant.  He was born in Warren on December 3, 1954 to Plez Roam and Mary F. Kinard Roam Whitfield.  He was a longtime employee of Walmart and had previously been a truck driver, security guard, and riverboat deck hand.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Plez Roam and an infant sister, Sandra Roam.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Whitfield of Little Rock, one brother, Robert Don Roam of Searcy, and many friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 23, in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Bro. Gene Huskey officiating.  Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Outlaw Cemetery in Sumpter, (Bradley County) officiated by Bro. Felton Savage.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 22 at the funeral home.
Ronnie was involved with St. Jude's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105  to which memorial contributions may be made in his name.
