Faye Reynolds Thornton, age 82, of Hermitage, AR, died Tuesday April 28, at Chapel Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation in Warren, AR. Born March 25, 1933 in Bradley County, AR, a daughter of the late Malvern Reynolds and Laura Hollingsworth Reynolds she was retired from the Arkansas Forestry Commission, a former Foster Grandmother in the Hermitage Schools and a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a husband Troy Thornton who died September 23, 1997; daughter Kathy Thornton McNew; brothers John L. “Tut” Reynolds, Edgar Reynolds, Ellis Reynolds, Jerrell Reynolds and a sister Bernice Gates.
Survivors are One son Ken Thornton and spouse Lenita, Hermitage, AR. One daughter Frieda Heath and spouse Randy, Sheridan, AR. One brother Doyle “Tiny” Reynolds, Hermitage, AR. One sister Laverne Freeman, Hermitage, AR. 5 grandchildren. 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00AM Thursday, April 30th at Frazer’s Chapel.
Burial in Gravelridge Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
