Donny Chris Walker

Donny Chris Walker age 62, of Hermitage, AR died Monday April 27th at the Baptist Hospital, Little Rock, AR.  He was born January 7th, 1953 in Osceola, AR; a son of the late Bobby Walker and Virginia Howell Walker. He was a retired principal and teacher with the Hermitage Public Schools for 22 plus years, teaching grades K thru 12 and then in administration.  He was a member of the Church of Christ, a graduate of the Osceola Public Schools and earned his Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Arkansas at Monticello.  He was also preceded in death by a brother Billy Walker.

Surviving is his wife Bonnie Winters Walker, whom he married April 20, 1982.  2 sons, Brian Gregory and spouse Staci, Hermitage, AR and Kelly Gregory and spouse Jennifer, Cabot, AR.  A brother Johnny Walker, Osceola, AR; and 2 sisters Sherry Perkins and Crystal Hudson both of Osceola, AR. 4 grandchildren Reagan Gregory, Brett Gregory, Max Gregory and Mason Gregory.


Funeral services were 10:00AM Saturday, May 2nd at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Daniel Haigwood officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in Holly Springs Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
