Betty Jean Land, age 86, of Warren, AR, died Wednesday September 24, at Chapel Woods in Warren, AR. Born July 30, 1928, in Warren, AR a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Thomason and Helen Annette Moore Thomason she was a retired child care worker, member of First Assembly of God Church and the widow of Henry Land who died March 26, 1985.
Survivors are 1 son James Derrell Land and spouse Sarah, Warren, AR. 1 brother Steven Ray Thomason, Monticello, AR. 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Also preceding her in death was a daughter Joyce Ann Mann, brothers Jessie Thomason, Ralph W. Thomason, Leonard Ray Thomason and a grandchild Amanda Land.
Graveside services were 2:00 p.m. Saturday September 27, at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Arrangements were by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Tracy Forrest, Jeffery Forrest, Jeff Savage, Randy Gorman, Jr., Justin Gorman, Zackary Outlaw. Honorary pallbearers were all the children she had babysat.
