Carlton H. Wright, age 86, of Rye, AR died Friday September 26, at the V.A. Hospital in North Little Rock, AR. Born September 21, 1928 at Rye, AR a son of the late Clyde Wright and Mary Esker Adair Wright he was a Disabled American Veteran of the Korean War, where he was one of the few in his unit that survived, a Purple Heart recipient, retired from Thomas L. Green Corp. and a Baptist.
Survivors are 3 brothers W.C. Wright, Indianapolis, IN, Damon Wright, Rye, AR, Jerry Adair, Rye, AR. 2 sisters Sybil Vinson, Rye, AR, Virginia Sullivan, Columbia, TN. 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren. Also preceding him in death was a step son David Freeman and a brother Richard Wright.
