Martha Elizabeth (Liz) Gates age 77 of Warren, AR died Tuesday, April 23rd at her home. She was born December 30th, 1941 in Bradley County Arkansas, a daughter of the late Clifton “Tim” Savage and Ona Beatrice Baker Savage. She was a housewife and homemaker and a Baptist. Also preceding her in death was her husband Clifford T. Gates whom she married January 18th 1958 and he died November 23rd 2018.
She is survived by a son Glenn Gates and Chrystola Warren, AR. A daughter Teresa Hargis and Kim, Wilmar, AR. Brothers Charles Savage, Warren, AR and Mike Savage, Fayetteville, AR. Sisters Barbara Temple, Atlanta, TX and Betty Rial, Wilmar, AR. 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were 10:00AM Friday, April 26th at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Burial was in Adam Singer Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Chase Cox, Melvin Mills, Terry Don Richards, Russell Richards, Jerry Wood and Steve Rand.
