Shirley “Meme” Cotham age 74 of Johnsville, AR died Saturday, March 9th, 2019 at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. She was born March 23rd, 1944 in Warren, AR a daughter of the late Walter Wright and Audrey P. Armstrong Wright. She was a housewife, homemaker, a Baptist. “Meme” had a passion for her family, her friends and living life as well. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Van Cleave Cotham who she married in 1961 and he died in 2013 and brothers Obit Wright and Junior Wright.
Survivors include daughters Terrie Springer and spouse Billy, Fayetteville, AR and Tammie Cotham, Johsnville, AR. A brother Walter “Buddy” Wright, Fouke, AR. Sisters Mary Richards, Austin, TX and Patricia Wheeler, Monticello, AR. 4 grandchildren April Bagley and spouse John, Parkers Chapel, AR, Chad Stanley and spouse Leslie, Warren, AR, Vanna Moore, Fayetteville, AR and Jeremy Moore, Rye, AR.
8 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was 2:00pm Friday, March 15th at Oakland Cemetery in Monticello with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Arrangements were by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
