Ollie R. ‘Betty’ Cone, 67, of Warren, died Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
Born April 12, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Virgil and Lorene Martin.
She was a member of Palestine AME Church in Johnsville, a graduate of Hermitage High School and a retiree of Akins Industries. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Mitchell Cone and a son, Mitchell Cone.
Survivors:
Her children – Teresa Carr (Anthony) and Jermaine Cone
Siblings – Annie Beckworth (Archie), Patricia Martin, Virgil Martin (Betty), Leodis Martin and Derrick Martin.
Grandchildren – Latoya, Deundre, Jamia, Malaysia, Jayden, Jordyn, Hannah and Xander
Great grandchild – Jayce
Special daughter-in-law – Mary Cone
Nephews – Adam Martin, Brandon Martin, Brian Martin and Chris Martin
Nieces – Tonya Orr, Traci Cotton and Brandy Martin
Funeral services were October 28th at Palestine AME Church in Johnsville with Elder James Hooper officiating and Elder Larry Hines eulogist. Burial was in Palestine Cemetery with arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home of Warren.
