Helen M. Jackson Rogers, 74, of Warren, died Sunday, October 22, 2017 at her home.
Born September 8, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Dossie and Lola B. Hunter Jackson.
Helen was a 1961 graduate of Warren Public School. She attended Arkansas Baptist College and graduated from Arkansas A.M. & N. College in Pine Bluff with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. She taught school for over 30 years. She was a member of Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Warren.
She was also preceded in death by her grandparents and a brother, Rosevelt Jackson.
Survivors:
Her sons – C. Todd Rogers (Angela) of Conway and Chad T. Rogers (Latoya) of Houston, TX.
Siblings – Lynn A. Jackson (Margerine) of Arkadelphia, Robert L. Jackson (Lucy) of San Antonio, TX., James C. Jackson (Ann) of Plano, TX., Anthony L. Jackson of Houston, TX., Earnestine J. Strickland of Austin, TX. and Marilyn Jackson-Smith of Warren.
6 grandchildren, 14 nieces and nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 28th at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Warren with Rev. Henry Cox pastor and Rev. Henry Thomas eulogist. Burial will be in Union Cemetery with arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home of Warren.
