Melissa Ann Hays, age 44, of New
Edinburg, AR, died Monday August 14, at Bradley County Medical Center. Born
October 19, 1972, in Warren, AR, she was a school teacher and a member of
Emmaus Baptist Church. Melissa was preceded in death by her mother Nell Gullett
Dal Santo and a step brother Brandon Temple.
Survivors
are her father and step mother Dennis and Sherry Hays of Hermitage, AR. Step
father Walter Dal Santo and spouse Sandra of New Edinburg, AR. One half brother
Bradley Hays of Mule Creek, New Mexico. One step brother Anthony Dal Santo of
Hattiesburg, MS. Three step sisters Holly Morgan and spouse Joey of El Dorado,
AR, Darla Doutt of North Little Rock, AR, and Chaundra Ely of Murfreesboro, TN.
An uncle Freddy Gullett and spouse Terry of New Edinburg, AR. A host of nieces
and nephews.
Funeral
service was 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 17, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Tim
Williams officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist. Burial was in Moseley
Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Scotty Sloan,
Shannon Chancellor, Calvin Meeks, Josh Hays, Joey Morgan, and Cody McMurry.
Honorary pallbearers were Dewayne Adair, Jim Anders, Sonny Rainey, Eddie
Ferrell, Ronnie Hays, Bert Hays, Jimmy Ray Chancellor, Dr. Ken Purvis, and Dr.
