Ethel Mae Jenkins Powell, 74, of Warren, died Monday, October 17, 2016 at her home.
Born August 8, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Abe and Ozella Tolefree Jenkins.
She was a special person who touched the lives of many people.
She was also preceded in death by a son Kenneth Jenkins, two sisters: Bessie Tate and Dollie Mae Jenkins.
Survivors:
Grandchildren-Keneetra Owens, Kim Hines, Kendrick Davis, Keyon Jenkins, Keenan Jenkins all of Warren; Sade Gilbert of Madison, WI.
Great grandchildren-Kynnedy Owens Halsell, Jamarcus Hines, A'Miracle Dickerson, Carlton Dickerson, Jr, Terrell Gilbert Harris, Dendria Davis, Ke'Yonnia Davis, Khyron Jenkins, and Kash Jenkins.
Special niece-LaKeshia Tate of Warren.
A host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were October 22nd at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Warren with Rev. Eddie Hampton, Sr. officiating. Burial in Bethel Cemetery in New Edinburg with arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home of Warren.
