Ostella Gorman Hudson, age 88, of Atlanta, Texas went to be with the Lord Monday, September 12, in an Atlanta, Texas hospital. Clara was born July 13, 1928, in Bradley County, Arkansas to Van and Allie Mae Gorman. She was retired from the Natural Food Store, a member of First Baptist Church, Atlanta and loved flower gardening, reading and crafting. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond P. Hudson; two brothers, V. P. Gorman, James Ray Gorman; and a sister, Vada Fay Gorman Williams.
She is survived by her daughter, Gina Hudson and husband William Nelligan of Atlanta, Texas; sister-in-law, Allie Drue Gorman of Hermitage, Arkansas three nieces, Glenda Bowlin of Rison, Arkansas, Patti McVay of North Platte, Nebraska, Shelia McVay of Hermitage, Arkansas; and a number of other relatives. The family would like to thank the caring staffs of Rose Haven Retreat, Heritage Hospice and Christus St. Michael Health Care Center.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 15, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Frazer Funeral Home in Warren, AR. Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Friday, September 16, in the Frazer’s Chapel.
