Bobby Neal Temple, Sr.

Bobby Neal Temple Sr, age 84 of Johnsville, AR died Wednesday, July 20th at the Cornerstone Hospital in Little Rock, AR.  He was born January 1st, 1932 on the Clifton Neal farm south of Hermitage, AR, to the late Lloyd Temple and Nettie Frazer Temple.  He attended Hermitage Public Schools in his early years and left school to enlist into the United States Marines Corp. where he served his country in the Korean War that forced him to experience combat war which forever changed his life and the men he served with.  He moved from southern California after his release from service to south Louisiana, where he worked on offshore oil and gas drilling rigs for many years and later in his life settled in Johnsville, AR working as a millwright in Crossett and working for Clay Lowry Forestry.  Bobby Neal Temple SR, was also preceded in death by a brother Charles Temple and sisters Varniece Martin and Ida Maude Temple.

He is survived by two sons, Bobby Temple, Jr, Oklahoma City, OK and Bill Temple, Conway, AR.   A daughter Kim Temple also of Conway, AR. Four grandchildren Darrell Temple, Sara Davis, Jessica Temple and Bradley Temple. One sister Alice Faye Bennett of Crossett, AR.

Graveside services were 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 26th at Calvary Cemetery in Johnsville, AR. with Rev. Charlie Williams officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Donny Ray Lowry, Clay Lowry, Ronnie Rice, Eddie Ferrell, Keith Outlaw, Allen Outlaw and Danny Rainey.
