Nellie Sue Jackson Pierce

Nellie Sue Jackson Pierce age 93 of Hermitage, AR ( Moores Mill) died Sunday November 29th, in Jackson, Miss.  She was born October 25th, 1922 in Eudora, AR a daughter of the late George Alvin Jackson and Willie Sansing Jackson.  She was a homemaker, a farmer a member of Calvery Presbyterian Church in Johnsville, AR and she loved people. She is also preceded in death by her husband Theo Pierce whom she married October 22nd, 1950 and he died June 17, 1999. Brothers Spencer Jackson and G.A. Jackson, Sisters Cgis McKee, Irene McKay, Lidia Walker, Pat Smith and Iola Corbett also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son Tom Harmon and spouse Margaret, Tallulah, LA, A step son Theo David Pierce, Little Rock, AR and  a step daughter Martha Robertson, Little Rock, AR.  A granddaughter Amy Lynn Harmon, New Orleans, LA and 4 other grandchildren.  8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and friends.

Funeral service was 10:00AM Friday, December 4th at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was  at Poyen Cemetery in Grant County by Frazer Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Randy Clanton, Jr., Randy Clanton, Sr., Scotty Sloan, Keith Braden, Randy Collier, Sam Clanton.
