Iva Monte Hairston McDougald, age 79, of Warren, AR, died Tuesday July 28, at Chapel Woods Health and Rehabilitation in Warren, AR. Born November 5, 1935 a daughter of the late Jettie Hairston and Myrtle Glover Hairston she was retired from Jack Winter, a C.N.A., a Baptist and the widow of Thornton Thomas McDougald who died September 23, 1995. They were united in marriage July 3, 1953.

Survivors are 2 sons Randy McDougald, Hermitage, AR, Rusty McDougald, El Dorado, AR. 2 daughters Carolyn Huitt and Joye Lynn Curry both of Warren, AR. 2 brothers Billy Smith, Banks, AR, Lawrence Hairston, Conroe, TX. 4 sisters Shirley Harrod, Bearden, AR, Florence Brown, Rogers, AR, Freda Green, New Edinburg, AR, Sudie Duck of Texas. 11 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death was a son Donnie Ray McDougald; brothers Bill Hairston; sister Virgie Shirey, a great-great-grandchild Gage Owens.
