Betty Grafton Coggins Taylor age 89 of Rye, AR died Monday, June 8th, at the Bradley County Medical Center. She was born August 20th 1925 in Baltimore, Maryland a daughter of the late Lawrence E. Coggins and Stella Yeager Coggins. She was a homemaker, member of Harmony Free Will Baptist Church and the widow of John C. “JC” Taylor Sr. whom she married June 12, 1947 and he died Jan 26th, 2011. 2 daughters in laws Pam Scott Taylor and Brenda Howard Taylor, a brother Lawrence A. Coggins and 2 sisters Dorothy C. Weidner and Florence A. Wollschlager also preceded her in death.
Survivors include 5 sons, Robert Taylor and spouse Charlie Sue, Rye, AR; John Taylor, Jr and spouse Mary, Warren, AR; Jerry Taylor and spouse Kathy, Rye, AR; Keith Taylor, Rye, AR; and Guy Taylor and spouse Carolyn, Bradenton, Fla. A twin brother Bill Grafton Coggins and spouse Mary Ellen, BelAir, Maryland and 2 sisters Vivian E “Inky” Kelly, Baltimore, MD; and Eunice J. Lattik, Baltimore, MD. A host of Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, Great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
