Eunice Turner Parrott


Eunice Turner Parrott age 88 of Warren, AR died Wednesday, April 15th at the Chapel Woods Nursing Home.  She was born May 15th, 1926 in Utica, Miss; a daughter of the late Elmer T. Turner and Myrtle A Lewis Turner.   She was a sales clerk for Ashcraft Dry Goods for over 30 years, a member of First Assembly of God Church and the widow of Milton Parrott whom she married April 24, 1943 in McGehee, AR and he died January 3rd 2010, she was also preceded in death by her son in law Donny Hollingsworth, brothers Joe Turner and John Turner and a sister Margaret York and a ½ sister Willie Graves.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Linda Hollingsworth, Warren, AR; and Diana Hoppers and spouse Phillip, Pine Bluff, AR. A brother Jacob Turner, Naples, FL.  2 sisters Marie Skowronski, Little Rock, AR. and Ruby Holland, Benton, AR. 4 grandchildren, Donald Hollingsworth and spouse Paula, Thomas Hollingsworth, David Hoppers and Todd Hoppers and spouse Kimberly. 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was 10:00AM Saturday, April 18th  at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Jim Bales officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist was Mary Fierce. Burial was in Union Cemetery at Rye by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Don Hollingsworth, Justin Hollingsworth, Sam Hollingsworth, David Hoppers, Phillip Hoppers, Thomas Harold “Bubba” York and Duane Johnson. Honorary pallbearers were Buddy Smith, Thomas Hollingsworth, Todd Hoppers, R.P. Outlaw, W.T. Outlaw, Dale Wolfe, James Tillman, Ralph Reep, Larry Reppond, Doyle Gill, Lloyd Corker, Jack Gambill, Stan Sharp, John Skowronski, Dr. Dichelle George and Larry Mann.
