Katie Sue Young Reep

Katie Sue Young Reep, age 84, of Warren, AR, died Saturday December 13, at Bradley County Medical Center. Born April 22, 1930 in Rye, AR, a daughter of the late James Samuel “Jim” Young and Willie Hazel Ashcraft Young she was a homemaker, member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the widow of Kenneth Leland Reep who died March 21, 1994. They were united in marriage June 9, 1950.
Survivors are 2 sons Kenneth Kay Reep and spouse Jeanie, Kip Leland Reep all of Warren, AR. 2 daughters Karen Sue Gage, Monticello, AR, Kena Y. Trammel and spouse Mike, Thornton, AR. 2 brothers J. Murry Young, Willie Jordan Young both of Rye, AR. 8 grandchildren, Keanon Reep, Kenneth Carvel “K.C.” Gage, Kolby Reep, Hannah Trammel Lightfoot, Katie Trammel Raney, Abbie Trammel, Rachel Trammel, Mary Thomas Trammel. 3 great-grandchildren Karley Reep, Lily Lightfoot, Charlotte Raney. 2 step grandchildren Clint Gage, Angie Gage. 2 step great-grandchildren Bailey Gage, Cody Gage. Also preceding her in death were brothers Floyd Dale Young, James Owen Young, Clay Maxwell Young, Aubrey Young, Henry Eugene Young, a sister Mary Elizabeth Adams and son in law C.C. Gage.

Funeral service was 1:30 p.m. Tuesday December 16, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann and Rev. David Richey officiating. Linda Barrett was organist and the Immanuel Baptist Church Choir sang. Burial was in Union Cemetery at Rye, AR by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Kay Reep, Kip Reep, Mike Trammel, Keanon Reep, K.C. Gage, Kolby Reep, Jesse Lightfoot and Winston Raney.
