Gerald Edwin "Scrog" Davidson - Funeral July 24

Gerald Edwin”Scrog” Davidson, age 87, of Warren, Arkansas died Wednesday, July 17, at Bradley County Medical Center. He was born November 22, 1925 in Bradley County, Arkansas a son of the late Barney Davidson and Eula Mae Wolfe Davidson.  He was a graduate of  Warren High School, was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps during World War II in action on Okinawa,  Hyukkyu Islands and the occupation of Japan. “Scrog” retired from the Bradley County Road Department. He was a member of the Warren Lodge #33, F&AM, the Central Missionary Baptist Church and played baseball in the American Legion League.  He married Lois Neely Davidson January 26, 1960 at Warren, Arkansas and she died January 3, 2008.  Survivors include a sister-in-law Peggy Young, Rye, Arkansas; nephews Gary Keith Pylant, Richmond, California and James Pylant, Fairfax, Virginia; nieces Diane Pylant Russell, Mexico Beach, Florida and Cindy Jacobs, White Hall, Arkansas. He was also preceded in death by a sister Lucille Harding. Funeral services 2:00pm Wednesday, July 24, at Frazer’s Chapel with Masonic Rites.
