Mary Lois Baker Scroggins

Mary Lois Baker Scroggins, age 95, of Banks, AR, died Sunday, July 28, 2019, under hospice care at Chapel Woods Health and Rehabilitation in Warren, AR. Mary Lois was born March 6, 1924, in Sumpter, AR, a daughter of the late Ira Baker and Velma Savage Baker. She was a retired farmer, homemaker, and a member of Springhill Freewill Baptist Church, where she served as Church Clerk for over sixty years. Her spouse Noble Scroggins preceded her in death on September 3, 1983, and sisters Marlene Miller and Ellece Miller.
Survivors are one son Charles Scroggins and spouse Angela of Hermitage, AR; two grandchildren Rhonda Gruchalski and spouse Troy of Conway, AR, and Nicholas Scroggins of Little Rock, AR; and two great grandchildren Alexis “Alex” Gruchalski and Jace Gruchalski.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, at Frazer’s Chapel. Burial is in Pleasant Valley Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Visitation is from 1:00 p.m. until service time Tuesday, July 30, at Frazer’s. Online guest register www.frazerfuneralhome.com
