Walter "Christabo" Phillips

Walter ‘Christabo’ Phillips, 67, of Hermitage, died Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in Fordyce.  Born October 10, 1950, he was a son of the late Willie O. Phillips and Mary E. Phillips.

He lived the greater portion of his life in Las Vegas, Nevada, working as a sous-chef for many years. He enjoyed nature in entirety; authenticating exemplary skills in deep woods ATV operation, hunting, fishing, archery and cooking.

Survivors:
His daughter – Antoinette Phillips of Mesa, Arizona
Grandchildren - Bryce Phillips of Las Vegas, NV. and Sara Cardwell of Kyle, Texas
Great grandchildren – Darian Phillips and Dominic Phillips both of Las Vegas, NV.
Brothers – James Phillips of Hermitage, Theotis Phillips and Terry Phillips both of Las Vegas, NV.
A host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were Oct. 6th at Hammons Funeral Home Chapel in Warren with Rev. Larry Hines officiating.  Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olive with arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home.
