Robert Terrel "Red" Wolfe

Robert Terrel “Red” Wolfe, age 90 of El Dorado, formerly of Banks, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 in El Dorado, AR.    He was born November 14, 1927 to Charles Henry Wolfe and Euna Blanche Wolfe on the family farm in Banks, Ar. He was a member of Banks Missionary Baptist Church.

He was a gentle, kind, loving man.  Married to Mattie Louise Case Wolfe for 73 years. He has been an avid hunter, fisherman, and farmer his whole life.   Robert served as a military policeman in the Philippine Islands in the United States Army during World War II.   He retired from the International Paper Company in Camden after 43 years of service.

 He is survived by his only son, Bobby Lee Wolfe and wife Joann of Hampton.   Two beloved granddaughters, Netasha Williamson and husband, Vance, of El Dorado and Tonia Crow and husband, John, of Fayetteville.   He took joy in the lives of his six great grandchildren Hunter Carmical, Garrett Williamson, Greenlee Crow, Alexandra Williamson, Emmalee Crow, and Sara Cervantes. His brother Charles Wolfe Jr. “Buddy” and wife Wanda of Camden.  Sister Betty Joe Avery of Prescott.  He loved and cared for many throughout the years including his nephew Gary Case and wife Lisa and their children Brian Case and Christy Cathey.

He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings, Howard Wolfe of Camden, Perry Wolfe of Homer, LA, Arthur Wolfe of Locust Bayou, Jimmy Wolfe of Banks, Lois Knight of Gould, Madge Colvin of Hedland, AL, Jeanette Chepil of Houston, TX.

Graveside service was 11:30 a.m. Thursday, October 18,  at Williams Cemetery in Banks, AR, with Bro. Bill Odom officiating. Arrangements were by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
