Wolodja "Billy" Namenek

Wolodja “Billy” Namenek, age 68 of Wilmar, AR passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at Life Touch Hospice at El Dorado, AR surrounded by family. He was born November 13, 1949 in Munich, Germany. He was the son of the late Eduard Namenek and Maria Namenek. Billy was a proud graduating member of the class of 1969; in the yearbook it was stated “His head was always in the clouds but his foot was always on the accelerator.” In 1970 he enlisted in The United States Air Force. He served as a medic from 1970-1974. Billy loved to hunt and fish and he shared that love with many especially Richard his nephew. Billy never met a stranger and he loved people. He made you laugh and always laughed about himself. He loved to work with his hands and held many jobs and loved to operate heavy equipment. Billy loved traveling, adventures, and having his picture made all the time.
Billy is survived by his valentine sweet heart Judy McClain Namenek whom he married on November 13, 1971. A marriage of love, laughter, and good times for 46 years. He was the father of one daughter Robin C. Namenek. Billy loved his two sisters dearly Tamara Daniels Baldwin of Bodcaw, AR and Olga Trussell of Warren, AR. His brother-in-law, whom he loved like a brother, Kenneth Trussell of Warren, AR; numerous nieces and nephews that he adored and loved.
Billy loved and attended full gospel churches where he found the love of Jesus and faith that grew so strong to meet each day.
Billy wanted a celebration of life and laugher to complete his going home. Funeral service was Monday, June 4 at 10:00 A.M. in Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Ricky Smith officiating. Dottie Smith was pianist and soloist was Wanda Williams. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Randy Burt, Richard Bickers, Kenny Trussell, Gary Reep, Roger George, and Bobby Bennett. Honorary pallbearers were Norman “Bo” Kulbeth, Thomas Harton, Kenneth Trussell, Levi Davis, and Jody Williams. Memorials can be made to Life Touch Hospice, 2801 Champagnolle Rd.
