Charles Tommy Adams

Charles Tommy Adams, age 70, of Warren, AR, died Monday, June 11, 2018, at his home. He was born June 18, 1947, in Warren, AR, a son of the late Samuel “Judge” Adams and Della Mae Sutton Adams. Also preceding him in death was a brother Robert Lee Adams and a sister Shelva Jean Adams. Tommy worked for Cash Butane, Potlatch and retired as street foreman for the City of Warren. He was a member of Willoughby Free Will Baptist Church and attended both Good Hope United Methodist Church and Farmville Baptist Church. He loved to deer hunt, fish in his pond, spend time with family and friends, and work in his garden. Tommy was a collector of John Deer tractors, guns and old trucks. The loves of his life were his dogs, Duke and Peanut.
Survivors are his wife Joyce Glennon Adams whom he married January 31, 1969. One daughter Lisa Williams and spouse Scotty of Warren, AR. Two brothers Monette Adams of Warren, AR, and Elmer Adams of Harrell, AR. Two sisters Lorece Thompson and spouse Cecil, Melba Neely and spouse Keith all of Warren, AR. Two grandchildren Cynthia Wood and spouse Jacob of Hermitage, AR, and Bubba Williams of Warren, AR. Three great-grandchildren Lizzy Wood, Jacelynn Wood, and Jake Wood all of Hermitage, AR. A sister in law Sherry Starks and spouse Ronald of Sheridan, AR. A host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service was 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 14, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Tim McClellan and Rev. Billy Biggs officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in Willoughby Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Mark Adams, Jacob Wood, Ricky Loomis, Lacey Hollingsworth, Jerry Lynn Hollingsworth, Matthew Starks, Tilmon Adams, and Justin Foyle. Honorary pallbearers were Eddie Groves, Eddie Wayne Groves, Don Jackson, Deon Wolfe, Jack Bortel, Nathan Harrod, Dr. David Chambers, Ricky Lewis, Tyler Hayes, Gregg Reep and Terry Adams.
