Victor Martin Myers

Victor Martin Myers, age 83, of Hermitage, AR, died Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, AR. He was born August 5, 1934, a son of the late Homer Lee Myers and Lena Lizzie Howsen Myers. Victor attended Arkansas A&M, was the retired owner/operator of Myers True Value Hardware in Hermitage for over 30 years, owner/operator of Myers Enterprises in Hampton, was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Naval Air Force Reserves. Also preceding him in death was a son Edwin Martin Myers; brothers Doyle Myers, Bill Myers, Cecil Myers; sisters Grachel Harvill, Christine Rand, Mildred Brown; and a grandson Daniel James Myers.
Survivors are his wife of 63 years Louneil Langston Myers. One son Greg Myers. Three daughters Nancy Risher (Mark), Janet Harton (Greg), and Nita Melton (David). Two brothers Austin Myers (Geneva) and Fred Myers (Kay). One sister Nina Hargis. Eleven grandchildren Toby Byrd (Michele), Dusty Byrd (Halee), Lindsey Barton (Jeff), Brooke Harton, Kelsie Casculescu (Andy), Caleb Myers, Logan Harton, Faith Melton, Joseph Myers, Tyler Melton, and Joshua Myers. Two great grandchildren Caroline Barton and Ben Barton.
Funeral service was 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Don Smith, Rev. David Inzer, and Rev. Buddy Boykin officiating. Burial was in Gravelridge Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Music was provided by Sharon Gray, Jerry Rand, Ebie Harvill, and Rev. Buddy Boykin.
