Ruby Lee Peek Lasiter

Ruby Lee Peek Lasiter age 82, of Warren, AR died Wednesday January 31st at St. Vincent’s North in Sherwood, AR. She was born December 1st, 1935 in Warren, AR a daughter of the late Henry Franklin Peek and Mary Jane Oakley Peek.  She was employed with Sykes Oak Flooring, was a life long member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where she volunteered at the Clothes Closet and was a graduate of the Warren Public School system.   She was also preceded in death by her husband Herbert Dale Lasiter, and brothers Thomas Peek and an infant brother and a great-grandchild Gavin Lee Gardner.

She is survived by a son Paul Lasiter and spouse Rhonda, San Diego, CA.  A daughter Kay Lasiter, Warren, AR.  A brother Rufus Peek and spouse Jennita, Warren, AR. Sisters Suzie Simmons, Warren, AR and Mary Frances Taylor and spouse Royce, Pine Bluff, AR. 3 grandchildren Sarah Lasiter, Logan Lasiter and Adriene Gardner and spouse Don.

Funeral services were 1:30PM Saturday, February 10th at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Matt Overall officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in Wheeler Springs Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Johnny Peek, Randy Peek, Christopher Peek, Austin Peek, Ryan Peek and Roman Peek. Honorary pallbearers were Becky Peek, Logan Lasiter, Julie Hamilton, Dr. Joe H. Wharton, Ronny Hamilton, Jimmy Don Taylor, and Staff of Bradley County Medical Center.
