Chief Master Sergeant, Bonner Grier Davis, Jr.

 Bonner Grier Davis, Jr., (Chief Master Sergeant, U.S. Air Force, Ret.), age 90, of Poquoson, VA, died Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Warrick Forrest in Newport News, VA. He was born in 1927, in Warren AR, the son of the late Bonner Grier Davis and Eva Grace Pennington Davis. Bonner (Jack) was retired from the U.S. Air Force and the Civil Service with 37 years of service. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye and joy of his life. He thoroughly enjoyed helping raise Bailee and Davis and watching their sports events. Survivors include his wife Beatrice M. Ferrell Davis whom he married in 1948, the love of his life for 70 years. A son Bonner Grier Davis, III, of Washington, D.C., a daughter Tracye Davis Ireland and her spouse John A., of Poquoson, VA., one sister Jemmie L. Moseley of Pine Bluff, AR., and a granddaughter Bailee Elizabeth Ireland Ewell and her husband, Lucas, and grandson John Davis Ireland. The family extends a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Warwick Forest. Funeral service was at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 17, at Frazer’s Chapel.
