Lillian Hooks Baker, 84, of Banks, Arkansas passed away January 29, 2018. She was born June 20, 1933 in Banks, Arkansas to the late Frank and Maude Hooks.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry H. Baker, grandson, Matthew Williams, brother, Warren Thomas Hooks and sister, Sue Johnson.
She leaves behind her two daughters, Susan Grice of Winston-Salem, NC and Pamela Williams of Clinton, AR. Four grandchildren Cobey Hines (Brandy) of Lexington, NC, Jeremy Grice (Mandy) of Winston-Salem, NC, Corey Grice (Denise) of Banks, AR, Shannon Williams of Clinton, AR; three sisters Georgia Mae Smith (Jaker), Dixie Young and Shelby Kiersey (Lawrence) all of Banks, AR. She also leaves ten great-grandchildren, four great-greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 3 at Banks Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dwayne Ashcraft officiating. Interment was in McFarland Cemetery in Banks, AR. Active pallbearers were Corey Grice, Mike Kiersey, Keeton Hudson, Ty Hudson, Jason McDiarmid, and Junior Hooks. Honorary pallbearers were Jaker Smith, Lawrence Kiersey, and Don Hudson.
