Sybil Irene Trammell Brown

Sybil Irene Trammell Brown, age 91, of New Edinburg, AR, died Thursday, September 14, at Green House Cottages in Rison, AR. Born June 24, 1926, in Pulaski County, AR, a daughter of the late Jesse H. Trammell and Carrie Elizabeth Dyer Trammell she was a homemaker, and member of Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church. Sybil loved to quilt and give them to her family and friends. Also preceding her in death was a spouse James Brown, a brother Lester Trammell, sisters Ruth Henry, Margie Heird, Corene Temple, Doris Dugan, Sue Belle Trammell and 4 grandchildren.
Survivors are five sons Nolan Brown of Vilonia, AR, Floyd Brown of Warren, AR, Raymond Brown of New Edinburg, AR, Leonard Brown of Camden, AR, and Glen Brown of New Edinburg, AR. Three daughters Barbara Taylor of Warren, AR, Sue Shackelford of Crossett, AR, and Virginia Carter of New Edinburg, AR. Two brothers Leon Trammell of New Edinburg, AR, and Rex Trammell of Kingsland, AR. One sister Linda McDaniel of Warren, AR. Fifteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 17, at Frazer’s Chapel. Burial in Shady Grove Cemetery near New Edinburg, AR, by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Saturday, September 16, at Frazer’s. Online guest register www.frazerfuneralhome.com
