Herbert Bass, 69, of Warren died Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Veterans Hospital in Little Rock.
Born March 2, 1948, he was the son of the late Jimmy and Daisey Harding Bass.
He was a 1965 graduate of Bradley County High School . He later enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served two tours in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne Division.
On March 11, 1974, he married Brenda Washington and to their union three children were born.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Brian Bass.
Survivors:
His children-Prentice Bass of Pasadena, CA., Shaun Bass of Dallas, TX., Rhonda Block Quinones of Marietta, GA. and Ebonee Bass Scott of Bryant, AR.
Step daughter- Tonya Washington Jackson of Gilmore, AR.
Siblings- Jimmy Bass Jr., Thomas Bass both of Warren, Daisy Mae Sanders of Tucson, AZ.,
Karen Bass Ware of Arkadelphia and Lynda Bass Lambert of Norcross, GA.
Nine grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 20th at 11:00 A.M. at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Warren. Burial will be in Union Cemetery with arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home of Warren.
