Paul Michael Bigham

Paul Michael Bigham age 73, of Warren, AR died Thursday, June 15th at his favorite place, his camp at Pine Prairie on the Ouachita River.   He was born April, 28th, 1944 in Caruthersville, MO a son of the late John Paul Bigham and Lorranine Douglas McElyea.  He was a Medic in the Navy and served on the USS Kitty Hawk in Vietnam from 1966 thru 1970. After his service in the Navy he graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 1973.  He was retired from R. C. and D. with 25 years of service and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.  Also preceding him in death was his father in law and mother in law W. J. Jones, Jr. and Katie Sue Harrell Jones.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Judy Jones Bigham whom he married July 15th, 1971. His sons, Jon Bigham and spouse Stephanie and Doug Bigham and spouse Gail both of Warren, AR.  His grandchildren Mason Bigham , Dalton Bigham and Keller Bigham all of Warren, AR.  His sisters in law Billie Toms, Minden LA, Jimmie Morris, Harrell, AR.  His brother in law Jack Jones, Harrell, AR. and a host of nieces, nephews and a world of his friends. Mike was a much loved husband, father, and “Big Daddy”.

Graveside service was 5:00 PM Saturday, June 17th at Dickinson Cemetery with Rev. Gary Harrison officiating. Burial was in Dickinson Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Sam Russell, French Wynne, III., Jeff Taylor, Doug Bigham, Jon Bigham, Mason Bigham, Dalton Bigham, Keller Bigham. Honorary pallbearers were all friends at Pine Prairie Camp.
