Sharon Ashley Rice

Sharon Ashley Rice age 68 of Warren, AR died Thursday, March 2nd at the Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  She was born October 7th, 1948 in Little Rock, AR a daughter of Marie Owen Ashley, Redfield, AR and the late Jean Ray Ashley.   She was employed at the Bradley County Medical Center with 17 years of service, a member or Orion Missionary Baptist Church and a graduate of the Sheridan Public Schools.  She was also proceeded in death by her husband Leonard Rice who passed away March 7th, 2015.

Surviving other than her mother, are 2 sons, Marcus Brown and spouse Martha, Fairview, Tenn; and James Brown and spouse Tiffany, Gallatin, Tenn.   A brother Kenneth Ray Ashley and spouse Libby, Redfield, AR. and 2 sisters Gail Lewis and spouse Ron, Redfield, AR and Beverley Cloninger, Beebe, AR.  A grandchild Anna Marie Brown, Fairview, Tenn. A former husband James Larry Brown and spouse Jane, Burns, Tenn.

Funeral services 1:30 PM Monday, March 6th at Frazer’s Chapel with a visitation from 12:30 till service time.  Burial in Union Cemetery at Rye by Frazer’s Funeral Home.  Sunday visitation will be 2:00 pm till 4:00 pm, March 5th at Orion Missionary Baptist Church 3826 Stagecoach Road, in Redfield, AR.   Memorials preferred The Orion Missionary Baptist Church 3826, Stagecoach Road, Redfield, AR. or the Union Cemetery Association C/O Aaron Tooke.
