Georgia Lee Black

Georgia Lee Black, 83, of Warren, formerly of Eudora, died Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Chapel Woods Nursing Home in Warren.

Born May 16, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Booker and Alma Shaw-Black.

She was a member of St. Peter Baptist Church in Eudora, Federation Usher Board and Eastern Star.

Survivors:
Her children-Gloria Dickerson of Monroe, LA., Roosevelt (Felicia) Gray of Warren and Charles Harris of Eurdora.
Seven granddaughters-Twyla (Keitric) Woods, Megan Donaldson all of Montore, LA., Chanta (Tim) Wells, Latoya (Cameron) Faulkner all of Little Rock, Mykarsha Gray of Dayton, OH., Sha'Nequa Gray and Ka'Misha Davis both of Monticello.
Brother - Robert Black of Chicago, IL.
Goddaughters-Pat Morris of Eudora and Jennet McGill of Little Rock
Godson-Greg Myers of Oak Grove, LA.
Two great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were March 11th at St. Peter Baptist Church in Eudora with Rev. David Green officiating and Juanita Ruffin Mistress of Ceremony. Burial was in Mason Cemetery in Eudora with arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home of Warren.
