Pauline Harris Harrelson Grissom, age 95, passed away Monday, January 9th, at the Bradley County Medical Center. She was born October 12, 1921 in Cleveland County a daughter of the late Cap Harris and Bethel Jeffers Harris. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church, and a member of the Warren Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Garland Harrelson and her second husband Percy Grissom, a son Richard Harrelson and a brother William Lewis Harris.
She is survived by 2 daughters Donna Pennington and spouse Austin, Hermitage, AR and Dixie Strickland White and spouse Ben, Crossett, AR. 5 grandchildren Jeff Strickland and spouse Teru, Jennifer Strickland Douglas and spouse Mark, Tracy Pennington Glover and spouse Terry, Mike Pennington and spouse Christie and Mark Pennington and spouse Tiffany. 11 great-grandchildren Jaci Brooks, Cameron Blackburn, Will Strickland, Josh Keller, Lauren Cox, Alaina Glover , Cody Pennington, Chris Pennington, Scott Pennington, Cole Pennington and Sawyer Pennington. 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 12th at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Russell Rhoden officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery near New Edinburg by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Cody Pennington, Jeff Strickland, Mark Douglas, Terry Glover, Mike Pennington and Mark Pennington.
