Berdie Lee Burks, 79, of Harrell, died tuesday, January 3, 2017, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.
Born May 4, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Clarence H and Maud (Ricks) Burks.
She was a member of First Baptist church in Harrell. She was a former CNA and bus driver.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Lee Jackson, siblings, Irene Miner, Corine Strong, Travis Burks, Freddie Burks, Leotis Burks, and a grandson, Darrell Johnson.
Survivors:
Her children-James Allison, Brenda Moore both of Harrell, Maudie (Larry) Thompson, Alvin Green all of Cincinnati, OH; Irita Burks of Fordyce and Joetta Hutchins of Little Rock.
2 special grandsons-Amos Moore and Elmontha Burks
22 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends
Funeral services were January 6 at First Baptist Church in Harrell with Rev. G. T. Shelton officiating. Burial in Ricks Cemetery in Harrell with arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home of Warren.
