Clarence E. Yon (Jesse), 82, of Warren, died Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Chapel Woods Nursing Home.
Born March 23, 1934, he was a son of the late James Yon and Evelyn Little.
He was a member of West Central Church of Christ in Warren for 47 years, spreading the gospel of Christ. He also served as a minister in Dermott and Hampton. He was a former employee of Potlatch Corp. He was known for his extraordinary abilities to fix bicycles, which earned him a special place in the hearts of all that knew him.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda Alexander, a sister, Marlene Washington, and a brother, Ursell Gilbert.

Children-Lawrence Yon (Kathleen) of Merriville, IN., Michael Yon (Ronda) of Cibolo, TX., and Kimberly Yon of Warren
Nieces-Annette Love and Vicky Washington both of Altadene, Ca.
9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 30, at West Central Church of Christ in Warren with Bro. Juerga Smith officiating. Burial in Union Cemetery with arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home.
