Reubin Steverson Dumas, age 71, of Hot Springs, AR, died on Thursday, October 27. He was born on September 15, 1945 in Coy, Alabama, the son of Grace Sheffield Dumas and William D. Dumas. Steve served in the United States Army 1967-71 and received a commendation medal while in Vietnam. He is predeceased by his parents and his siblings: David D. Dumas, James Paul Dumas, Nora Donaldson, Ann Youngblood and Pauline Daniels. Steve loved to fish and hunt, particularly with his nephew Frank Ross.
He leaves his adoring wife, Nona Proctor Dumas, his son Steven Lev Dumas of Oregon, a step-daughter Nona Elizabeth Watson of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and a brother and sister-in-law William and Flo Dumas of Monroeville, Alabama.
