Debbie Scroggins age 56, of Monticello, AR died Tuesday, October 11th at the Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, AR. She was born July, 24, 1960 in Houston, TX a daughter of the late Homer Acord and Mildred Joiner Acord. She worked for Gulf Publishing Company in Houston, TX for a number of years and was a homemaker and member of Life Church in Monticello. Also preceding her in death was her husband Frank A. Scroggins who passed away in 2003. A brother Joe Michael Loomis and sisters Susan Carter, Evelyn Wardlaw and Phyllis Woolford also preceded her in death.
Surviving is her son Frank Scroggins, Conroe, TX and a daughter Ashley Scroggins, Little Rock, AR. 3 brothers Robert Loomis, Wilmar, AR, James Loomis, Houston, TX and Donald Acord, Houston, TX. A grandchild Skyler Morgan, Little Rock, AR.
Funeral services were at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 15th at Life Church in Monticello, AR with Rev. Kelly Word officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery in Warren, AR by Frazer Funeral Home.
